Inga and Anush Arshakyan revealed that they will perform song "Gutan" as Armenia entry in Eurovision 2009. Of course, if they are chosen to do so during the final selection on 14 February. Being familiar with the potential of current main contestants to represent Armenia in Eurovision - Inga and Anush Arshakyan, Mher, and Arame - I favour Inga and Anush (already mentioned about it under the comments section here). They are talented, have good voice and performance skills. They are not boring, and different in a nice way. And I quite liked their song "Gutan" - mixed folk song. Not bad. Not bad at all. Quite good, actually. Go Inga and Anush!

Interestingly, a comment on YouTube points out that the song can't be entered into Eurovision. It lasts nearly 4 minutes and the rules say songs HAVE to be 3 minutes. Of course, I suppose they could shorten it, but they probably should have read the rules first.
I would not worry, it's just a matter of a video clip. It's not unusual to see a video clip lasting more than 3 mins. Frequently, there is some difference between the video and actual live performance. I am sure everyone is aware about 3 mins rule, and it was explicitly stated by the Public TV of Armenia in its Eurovision 2009 submission rules.
Just seems a bit stupid to spend money on producing a video of a longer version of the song if they plan to perform it a minute shorter. Anyway, let's see. Still haven't been able to watch the thing because of my bloody internet connection, but am still trying.
There's a minute of purely instrumental playing, so probably that will be cut (although I like that part!)
Inga and Anush Arshakyan will represent Armenia in Eurovision 2009 with this poor choice of song
very very poor choice, the music reminds me like someone passed away and 2 sisters look like cartoon characters ,
where is SIRUSHO ? the real one ?
it is so unbelievable with this music you guys probably will be the last last place
I loved Gutan and shocked to hear that "Jan jan"... so far, Inga and Anush were one of my favourite Armenian musicians (I listen to them almost as much as Nor Dar). Well I wish they won't get out of first 8... such a pity, with a right song they could be the winners...
Exactly, they are very talented, with great potential but... with a wrong choice of song for Eurovision :(
