Perfume Genius - new music from US

Thanks to The Guardian, I learned of Mike Hadreas, aka Perfume Genius, pretty exciting new US singer-songwriter. When I dig in for more, I came across a series of articles on The Huffington Post.

His new album Put Your Back N 2 It is out soon, but you may listen to the tracks on The Guardian.

One of the songs - All Waters - is about internalised homophobia.

But perhaps his most scandalous recently released video is for ‘Hood’ featuring gay porn star Arpad Miklos.



Will keep an eye.

X-rated lollipop + more ;)

I never thought that the very definition of lollipop could be so X-rated. It reads like a porn.

Wikipedia: A lollipop, pop, lolly, sucker, or sticky-pop is a type of confectionery consisting mainly of hardened, flavored sucrose with corn syrup mounted on a stick and intended for sucking or licking.

The only reason I looked up for it is because I came across this pretty X-rated version of lollipop today while browsing through Soho stores in London (picture, above).

Obsessions with gay topics I may understand. But with the gay porn??? Oh my... Too absurd, even for Radio Van 'standards'.

But all the above did not stop the British Council Armenia to go ahead with their plans of partnership with the radio station. On Friday night they were out clubbing with the radio station to celebrate their ‘special bond’.
